Remote Working Monday

If you're someone who works from home, you know how important the occasional remote working spot can be. A little buzz in the atmosphere, both the people and fresh brewed beverages. It's good to get out, support your local business, and get a great cappuccino while you're at it. Here's my outfit of the day pick if you're looking to stay comfortable while working at your "satellite office."

I dressed up this overall relaxed look with the Nomad Necklace and nude kitten heels. They're the perfect accessories to feel more professional while still maintaining your casual vibe. What other pieces would you pair with this? Now get out of those yoga pants and head into "the office" and knock that Monday to-do list out!

Ready in 5 - Fashionable Fast

It's easy to look good when you feel great and best of all, it doesn't have to take forever to get ready.  Here's an easy way to get ready in 5-minutes flat! (and yes, there are flats). My simple trick is always adding a piece of jewelry that is simple, yet colorful and unique. It makes you feel instantly more put-together while expressing your individuality. Here I paired the Small Nomad Necklace with this outfit to add a dash of whimsy, texture, and subtle color.

Looking to get out the door in a hurry? Here's a dressing recipe for success. Ready? Go!

Layer up (basic tee under a kimono cardigan )
Dab of BB cream (moisturize, SPF, & even skin tone in 1-step)
Bit of Black (mascara adds some polish)
Spritz of perfume ("you smell wonderful!")
Add a necklace (simple, touch of color)
Slip on pointed-toe flats (instantly elongate legs and
Grab your bag & sunnies
...and out the door you go looking casual and chic!

Black Orchid - comfortable, casual, polished

What do you think of when I say "comfortable wear?" Sweats? T-shirt and jeans? I love that comfortable doesn't have to mean any less put-together. The trick is to wear pieces that feel good and make you feel good. Keeping it simple, with a classic combinations and colors, makes casual chic comfy.

With 2014's "color of the year," being vibrant orchid, it's fitting to spice up the nails accordingly. Where would you wear this outfit?

Styling tips: chic in black (and gray)

Fun, casual, and comfortable can still look expensive and put-together. A woman can't go wrong with black and gray in her wardrobe, especially when she adds a special pop of color with accessories.

Accenting this outfit with a simple red pendant makes this more interesting and modern.
