How is Enfuse Jewelry created?

Welcome to the jewelry studio! Here's a sneak peek at the beginning of a necklace, which starts with a sawed copper base. With fusing glass to metal, there are many steps between the beginning and completion of each piece of Enfuse Jewelry

After sawing the copper, it's time to drill, file, and prepare it for applying and firing the enamel. Don't tell sawing... but enameling is my favorite part of the process since it introduces color to the jewelry. All jewelry is individually handcrafted in my Colorado studio so the beginning of your jewelry looks like the above image and you're sure to get something unique and beautiful every time.

Inspiration for Spring Fashion.

Love this feature in an Etsy treasury called "Stand in Line!" (Although, since Etsy's on online shopping platform, you don't actually have to wait in line.) Enfuse Jewelry's large white curve necklace is fittingly nestled among these great designs and images.

This curation is full of images that inspire and remind me that spring isn't too far off. The blue is peeking through white and there's a little breeze carrying the wings of bees and butterflies.

Is the snow melting where you live? The sunshine is in full-effect here in Colorado. That means my studio is in working order and new jewelry will be appearing soon.

What are you looking forward to this spring?

Getting Ready for Chicago : Renegade Craft Fair!

I'm thrilled to feature my handcrafted enamel jewelry at the Holiday Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago this year on December 7th & 8th! There's nothing quite like meeting my customers face-to-face. If you're in the Chicago area and looking for some vibrants gifts this season, please stop on by and say "hi!"

Hope you can make it - I'd love to meet you! I'll be working hard to make lots of new, beautiful jewelry for gifts either to yourself and/or your loved ones.

Nomad Necklace

I love a classic long necklace. This long turquoise enamel necklace is perfect to wear by itself, layered with other pieces, or even with a scarf. The latter is good for me because from mid-September till May, and on cool summer nights, chances are I'm sporting a scarf. This Nomad Necklace lets you enjoy both!

The Nomad Necklace comes with a Southwestern influence, while maintaining modern simplicity and polish. Perfect for the modern bohemian woman. When designing the smaller details, I was inspired by images of journeying, adornment, pilgrimage, nomadic ancestors, footprints, and evidence of time passing...

What do you see in this piece? Does it remind you of anything?

Hope you're having a lovely September and beginning to fall!

back from Chicago's Renegade Craft Fair

Just returned from a wonderful time in Chicago. Over the weekend, Enfuse Jewelry participated in the Renegade Craft Fair. It was lovely meeting my customers and seeing them filled with excitement finding the perfect piece of jewelry. The feedback received was incredible: simple, unique, everyday, perfect, polished, fun, cute, beautiful. You rocked our socks off!

A happy customer wrote me a few days later about how wearing her new necklace made her feel super modern and chic at work. Love hearing the impact a simple piece of handcrafted jewelry can change the way you feel.

Having a blast meeting our customers in person!
